BSX Ltd have been part of the Sir Bobby Robson Celebrity Golf Classic for 8 years now, The Event has been run annually for 15 years. The tournament was started by Sir Bobby in 2004 with the objective of having a fun celebrity golf tournament in the sun, but most importantly to raise money for a homeless children’s charity the “Refugio Aboim Ascensão”, which is based in Faro, Portugal.
Back in 2003, Sir Bobby and Lady Elsie chose the “Refugio Aboim Ascensão” to be the benefactors of the funds raised at the tournament. The home looks after children and is a 7-days a week, 24 hours a day operation. Its Director, Dr. Luis Villas-Boas and his dedicated team, look after the children and create a home and new lives for them. The philosophy the Director and staff of the Refugio live by is that “Every child has the right to be loved“.
Since Sir Bobby started this tournament in 2004 over 1.3 million Euros has been raised for the children and the tournament is now a major fund raiser for the Refugio and since Sir Bobby’s death in July 2009 the tournament has continued with Lady Elsie’s blessing with two principal objectives:
Firstly, to continue to help the charity and give these children a better chance in life and also to Celebrate Bobby’s life both on and off the pitch, to remember what he brought to football both in the UK and in continental Europe having become one of the most successful British managers in Europe. Over the last few years BSX Ltd Director Barry Weston has met and played with many celebrity sportsmen with the likes of Alan Shearer, Franny Lee, Clive Allen, Martin Chivers, Matt Smith, Rob Bonnet, Kieron Dyer of whom the team BSX Ltd with Kieron nearly won the event, but managed a 2nd place finish. This year Barry Played with Tony Cottee and the team finished joint 3rd.

BSX Ltd customers and potential new customers, as from July 2021-2022 BSX LTD as regained the Licenses ISO9001 (Quality Management System), ISO14001 (Environment Management System) BS EN15713 ( Secure Destruction of confidential materials System) and ISO27001 (Information Security Management).
BSX Ltd as also regained their AATF and AE Environment Agency Approved Licenses for 2021.

As you may be aware on the 25th May 2018 a new EU Data Protection law – General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect.
There is a lot of confusion over what this actually means to companies and what we should do. In essence, the aim of GDPR is to allow companies and individuals in the EU to have more control over how their data is used.
If you deal with BSX Ltd in anyway and are happy for BSX to retain your data and we do not hear from you, then you do not need to do anything, we will continue to hold the contact details we have for you privately and secure and will accept that you are happy to receive information from us.
BSX hasn’t changed the way we use, share or keep your information safe because we have never shared this information with any third parties.
However if you wish for your data to be removed securely from our records then please notify us by a separate email writing GDPR in the subject column and your full details in the email stating you wish to be removed.
